What do you guys think of Bannan and his driving mishap?

Bigger stars have gotten away with so much more, but to me ( this may be due to me reading into it more) but he seems like he's getting screwed at by everyone.
Although the fact hes young may also be a factor

I was actually rather surprised when I heard this about him. I actually thought he was a decent young lad, as opposed to someone who did this sort of thing.

Anyway, I hope he can keep himself in order, because he's a fantastic talent and he's going to be key for Scotland in the coming years.

Hopefully, if he is a decent lad, this will serve as a needed wake up call to him, and it'll keep him on the right track from here on in.

I don't think anything else will happen. He should keep himself in order from now on, hopefully.

Anyway, are you worried about the possibility of his leaving in the next couple of years?

Yes, tbh he's got great vision, and i think if he sticks around we could have a killer midfield within a few years. But then again, if we get enough for him unfortunately we are a bit of a selling club.

That's the main worry. We've already seen in the past that when a big offer comes in for a player, Lerner will jump on it and sell the player without any hesitation whatsoever.

I could imagine several clubs going in for him as well. Liverpool may show interest, with the whole Scottish connection and the fact that Liverpool will happily splash the cash on a British youngster.

I dont think Lerner is quite so eager,
I'm not about to question the commitment and dedication of a person who flies thousands of miles every week to watch Villa, and i do believe he is Villa through and through,
Sometimes its just best to let the players go,
Milner and Barry left for City, obviously a good choice
Young left for the Champions, not exactly much to think about
Downing was tapped up and is a massive dick Laughing

To me, there are two sides to him.

Firstly, you are lucky to have someone like him in charge. He does care about the club, and because of his cautious nature, you'll never have any money worries while he is there.

The problem with him though is that he lacks any sort of ambition whatsoever; therefore it is going to be very hard for the team to make any sort of progress.

It'll be hard for anyone now though, teams like Villa and Everton wont break the top 4 for decades and decades now,
we dont have the money or quality to beat the top teams.

Not Lerner's fault in my opinion, though i understood how Houllier was showing ambition, he's a big name won loads of things, but McLeish? mmm Neutral

Eurgh, not happy with our performance,
Honestly i would have preferred to have played well but lost by twice the amount.
Not been a fan of McLeish from the start, but now its just getting annoying, playing 5 defenders at WHL is playing into Tottenham's hands

Also Gardner has joined Coventry on loan untill Feb i believe
was hoping he could maybe become a sub for the first team, hopefully he proves himself there on loan.
